Resident Students and CCPS EMPLOYEES Application Process

High School Programs
1. All students' supporting documents (transcripts, essays and/or Digital Portfolios) will be reviewed. If students do not meet the discipline and/or supporting documents criteria, they will be notified January 2023. Supporting documents vary for each high school. Please read the School Choice Guide for more information.
2. All students that require an audition to M.E. Stilwell School of the Arts will receive a confirmation email regarding the audition date and time the first week of January, 2022.
Final lottery results for all high school applicants will be released by April 1, 2022. This includes all high school magnet programs.

Non-Resident Students Application Process
NON-RESIDENT STUDENTS and NON-CCPS EMPLOYEES
Accepting Applications for the 2022-2023 School Year Open: November 1, 2022.
Deadline: December 1, 2022 at 5:00PM
Effective November 27, 2018 A tuition-based, non-resident student under these regulations will be treated as a resident student for the purposes of the lottery process and magnet programs. However, tuition-based, non-resident students in this category do not receive preferential treatment in the lottery process for assignment or in programs where students must apply to be accepted (i.e. magnet schools/programs), nor will they bump students currently on the wait list for these programs.
Application Instructions
NOTE: If you are applying for a Fine Arts Magnet, an audition is required. You will be given the option to register for an audition during the application process. However, your audition date and time will only be in pending status. If your application is denied for any reason, the audition date will be cancelled.
Step 1: Click here for additional information you will need in order to submit your application. Step 2: Click the link https://applyclayton.com
Step 3: If you do not have an account, enter the information requested and click Create Account. (You must have a valid email address)

Step 4: After you create your account, click start a new application.
Step 5: Click Begin “School Choice Application”. Step 6: Answer all questions on each page by clicking “Continue to Application”.
Step 7: You can periodically check your application status. Review the School Choice Guide for detailed information regarding the lottery process.
